- A Stable and Experienced Workforce. Our workforce features very low turnover and we are proactive in ensuring this remains true. We support continuous education and make skills upgrading a critical job requirement for each of our people. Cross-training to meet the exciting variety of products that we develop also fosters a satisfied workforce with interesting work.
- ISO 9001 Registration. OCM Manufacturing’s Ottawa facility is ISO 9001:2000 registered. Key elements of our business system include rigorous processes for understanding customer needs, careful control of customer-supplied and other materials, and diligently managed inspection processes.
- A Focus on Measurement and Continuous Improvement. A comprehensive system for measuring our performance on manufacturing quality and proactively taking steps to drive continuous improvement rounds out our strategy for quality. Our business development team is pleased to share our recent shipped quality and on-time delivery results upon request.
OCM staff is trained to the most current IPC workmanship standards (IPC-A-610), encompassing lead-free workmanship, as well as rework and repair standards, IPC 7711 and 7721. OCM maintains a certified IPC trainer on staff.
