Our Team

Baja's operations are based in Zhuhai, in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region's hub of economic development and electronics manufacturing capability. Our experienced, detail-oriented, and multi-lingual Chinese team provides on-the-ground design, prototyping and assembly.

OCM Manufacturing is our North American management partner, providing the first and single point-of-contact for all our North American customers.

General Manager: Leo Lin

Mr. Lin received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsing-Hua University in China. He has worked for multinational companies in China over the past 15 years as a mechanical engineer and production manager. Mr. Lin is proficient in production management, commercial negotiation, and quality control. He is currently responsible for all aspects of production operational management at Baja.

Managing Director: Ying Miao

Ms Miao has more than 20 years of experience in operations management, business development, and system implementation. Since 1994, she has worked to set up business operations for multinational and offshore investment companies in Asia. She is currently responsible for Baja's overall business operations and performance.

Senior Business Consultant: Cyril McDowall

Mr. McDowall has more than 30 years of experience in business development, project management, systems integration, and software and application development. Since 1997 he has setup branch offices and research and development facilities in Asia for multinational companies and offshore investment companies. He is currently working with Baja Technology to implement continuous business processes improvement methods.

Manager, Production: Jonny Fang

Mr. Fang is an operations leader with more than 13 years of experience in industrial manufacturing. At Baja he is responsible for managing the production, maintenance, and assembly of various of Sony electronic products such as mini-recorders, waterproof WMs, mini CDs, MDs, MP3 players, etc. He also leads the company's planning and scheduling, and has successfully used strategic decision-making, effective production management, and continuous improvement programs to drive aggressive bottom-line cost reductions while maintaining product quality levels and production output.

Manager, Product Development: Jackson Ma

Mr. Ma has 12 years of experience in the development of automotive audio, video, GPS systems and various wireless communication products, and has been an R&D Manager since 2001. His strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills all help to ensure that new products meet the required internal and external quality control standards before their release. Major customers he serves include Sony, C-Cube, Philips and Toshiba.

Manager, Quality Control: Frank Xu

Mr. Xu has a proven history of successful quality assurance and production quality control, including five years of experience working on Sony production control. His quality control duties include checking products and processes against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Purchasing Manager: Helen Long

Ms Long has more than 10 years of experience in production engineering, customer service, and electronic component / part sourcing. At Baja, she has managed the implementation of purchasing strategies which have led to significant process and cost reduction benefits. She has also developed closer supplier relationships and an extended supplier network.
